Dr. Lottie Hachaambwa

Dr. Hachaambwa currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Ciheb Zambia. He is an infectious diseases physician with expertise in HIV, tuberculosis, trypanosomiasis and global health security. He is an assistant professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. At Ciheb Zambia, Dr. Hachaambwa has led several projects in HIV prevention, treatment and care, and adult vaccination-related projects. He established the first infectious diseases training in Zambia through the MMed Infectious Diseases at the University of Zambia/University Teaching Hospital. Dr. Hachaambwa received his medical degree from the University of Zambia. He later did a residency in internal medicine at Kettering Medical Center and a fellowship in infectious diseases at Strong Memorial Hospital. He has over 20 years of clinical experience in treating HIV and other infectious diseases.
